About

UPDATE: I am currently doing a Bsc. Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.

My name is Brandon Lum and I am a security enthusiast based in Singapore. I cover a wide area of security, but as of now, I specialize in key areas such as network and web application security. I have been part of the IT Security Team at KPMG where I carried out security penetration testing and security review on various systems, as well as development of IT Security training materials. In addition, I had spent some time at the University of Wollongong doing research under the Centre for Computer and Information Security Research (CISSR).

As a member of the IT Security community, I have participated and won several security related competitions such as the Syscan Capture the Flag (CTF) and the HelloSecure Secure Coding Competition. I have also written several papers and spoken at the Hack In The Box (HITB) Security Conference (SIGINT).

I have created this blog to be a platform in which I can share my findings and security insights with others easily. I hope that this will be a good avenue for both sharing information as well as for discussion.
